Dr. Bob Young planted Tannat on a Comfort hillside in 2009 — the first commercial planting in the state. Today, that grape is the house signature: brooding, structured, and almost contractually obligated to pair with brisket. The tasting room is closed Tuesday and Wednesday; weekends fill up by noon.
